84% of donations go to program expenses. There are four primary programs the Pediatric AIDS Foundation runs:
International Family AIDS Initiatives: The Foundation's international HIV/AIDS programs prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV and provide antiretroviral treatment and care for children and adults.
Call to Action Project to bring simplified regimens for the prevention of mother to child transmission (PMTCT) of HIV to families in developing countries
Project HEART- access to care and treatment. Providing critically needed services, including ART, to save lives, preserve families, and restore hope in communities devastated by HIV.
HIV/AIDS Research and Training Programs: The Foundation's research efforts focus on urgent and innovative projects, bringing vigorous minds together in collaboration and bridging gaps within the medical and research communities.
George Washington University Partnership: The Foundation is pleased to announce a new partnership that will align the University's expertise in public health with the Foundation's work fighting pediatric AIDS around the world. The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services (SPHHS) and the Foundation will share knowledge, expertise, and educational opportunities, and will recruit a Foundation Vice President for Medical and Scientific Affairs who will also hold a senior GW faculty member appointment.
