Mission Statement

EMI's vision for glorifying God by offering hope to the spiritually and physically poor stems out of a strategic plan to mobilize design professionals to minister to the less fortunate in developing nations. We proclaim the Gospel of Jesus by helping others change their world — through the development of hospitals, schools, orphanages, bridges, water supplies, electricity and more. Our commitment is to enrich the lives of those who give and those who receive.

Details

Engineering Ministries International (EMI) is a non-profit Christian development organization made up of architects, engineers and design professionals who donate their skills to help children and families around the world step out of poverty and into a world of hope.

Engineering Ministries International is a Christian ministry that designs facilities that serve the poor in developing countries. These facilities (including buildings, roads, clean water projects and more) directly impact communities by meeting physical needs and communicating God's love in a practical way. If you choose to donate to EMI, your money will help support one of these projects. EMI has completed numerous projects in 80 countries, covering every major region across the globe.

It is EMI's goal to empower donors to participate in all or any portion of underwriting the cost of EMI projects. Engineering Ministries International (EMI) is seeking sponsors for 62 projects per year for the next three years; a total of 186 projects. These projects range in type from hospitals, orphanages and schools to water lines, wastewater systems and storm water drainage projects. Each project goes through an extensive approval process to ensure that the services provided by EMI will improve the lives of the poorest of the poor.
