Save the Children is the leading independent organization creating real and lasting change for children in need in the United States and around the world. It is a member of the International Save the Children Alliance, comprising 28 national Save the Children organizations working in more than 110 countries to ensure the well-being of children. The cornerstone of all Save the Children's programs is to work closely with families to define and solve the problems their children and communities face and utilizing a broad array of strategies to ensure self-sufficiency. This is accomplished through a number of programs including Ensuring the Economic Security of Children in Need, Education, Emergency Response, Protection, Heath, Hunger & Malnutrition and Child Poverty in America. If you choose to donate your money to Save the Children, you can designate to which specific program you would like to contribute.
